After 22 played minutes Tenacious D got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Quilo. Gregorio Pacho's late challenge caught a Colón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Pacho helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipolito Henry in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Itzaina saved Tenacious D from getting behind. When Colón's Hipolito Henry in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tenacious D's goalie prevented a goal. Hipolito Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Itzaina having to interfere. The supporters of Tenacious D booed when Colón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Rafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Colón getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Hipolito Henry hit a great ball. Tenacious D's Alejo Itzaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Henry in the 38th minute of play. Alejo Itzaina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Henry in the 43rd minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Henry to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tenacious D's zone, Lorenzo Geleberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Itzaina came out of the goal and Lorenzo Geleberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tenacious D's Gogo Heriberto got a free kick in the 66th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Colón's Hipolito Henry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejo Itzaina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Hipolito Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Pacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colón's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
