Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s Birger Ahlfors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Los Bodegueros A.F.C. from getting a goal against them. Amancio Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the Aguayo defense, Isaac Loco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Millan. The Aguayo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Millan should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Joanes got free with Birger Ahlfors in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Agustin Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Silban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birger Ahlfors having to make a save. Agustin Duarte hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Fidel Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Birger Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Silban, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Aguayo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Guilherme Azevedo in the 32nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Siro Joanes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tommie Bakhuis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Los Bodegueros A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Bakhuis to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Birger Ahlfors, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Aguayo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Bodegueros A.F.C. were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Loco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Cornelio Uxio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Uxio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birger Ahlfors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Joanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Guilherme Azevedo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birger Ahlfors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Aguayo's Amancio Millan got control of the ball when Cornelio Uxio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Azevedo in the 85th minute of play forced Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Birger Ahlfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Siro Joanes made a precise shot to the right of Birger Ahlfors. Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 94 minutes into the match, Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Siro Joanes came free, but Birger Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gregorio Nesor fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Bodegueros A.F.C.'s protests and gave Gregorio Nesor a yellow card for diving instead. Gregorio Nesor kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Aguayo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
