With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Pancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción's zone, Mauro Bihar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Pancho came out of the goal and Mauro Bihar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Lordi kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Hitz in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Evis saved Vértigo FC from getting behind. The supporters of Concepción booed when Vértigo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Tartalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Segundo Ursino took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Robustiano Pancho to make any attempt to save it. Martin Koldobika hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Mauro Bihar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Robustiano Pancho made a huge save. Segundo Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Robustiano Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Segundo Ursino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robustiano Pancho. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Reynaldo Magdaleno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Evis skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Bihar got free with Robustiano Pancho in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Ursino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vértigo FC! When the match had been going on for 53 minutes, Concepción's Alonzo Claude got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gustavo Evis. Genaro Hitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Evis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Mauro Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustavo Evis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Hitz went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Genaro Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gustavo Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concepción's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Hitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Segundo Ursino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robustiano Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Vértigo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Pascual Lordi scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Evis, making the score, 2-3. Santiago Benvide hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Concepción's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
