The supporters of Spock F.C booed when Salto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Benitez kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Salto AFC's Rafael Rainerio got a free kick in the 5th minute. Salto AFC's Aldo Blasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Andrade in the 6th minute of play. Aldo Blasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão de Alcântara in the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mauro Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spock F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Valiente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Blasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Blasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Blasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Messias's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Aldo Blasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Onofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Salto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Messias came free, but Aldo Blasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Rainerio charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Rainerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Salto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Rainerio. Edoardo Cericola's late challenge caught a Spock F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edoardo Cericola helped the player get up and apologised. 22 minutes into the game, one of Salto AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmer Brinck in the 25th minute of play forced Salto AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Blasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Lehoi got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 27th match minute, Salto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aldo Blasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Leonel Messias put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aldo Blasco. In the 69th minute of the match Anselmo Rodas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Izak Røber showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Salto AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Blasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Messias. In the 74th match minute, Salto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Rainerio to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Valiente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Salto AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spock F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
