In the 7th minute Michael Platini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Quinito might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Vachon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Quinito ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Pascual Torres put in a rough tackle. 15 minutes into the game, one of PRINSICH F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Fortin FC. Maurice Van Baerlem stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teobaldo Vidal. 0-1. Elpidio Rocendo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Teobaldo Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortin FC. Elpidio Rocendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Danilo Quinito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Quinito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cirilo Vachon made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Silvano Ekaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PRINSICH F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Teobaldo Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Rocendo in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Elpidio Rocendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Sayvion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Vidal having to interfere. PRINSICH F.C's Teobaldo Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save PRINSICH F.C from getting a goal against them. PRINSICH F.C's Teobaldo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Sayvion in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, PRINSICH F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Platini came free, but Teobaldo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Danilo Quinito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PRINSICH F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Quinito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes, Elpidio Rocendo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortin FC and the PRINSICH F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fortin FC's Elpidio Rocendo got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Danilo Quinito came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the PRINSICH F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Quinito couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, PRINSICH F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Orlin to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Vidal having to interfere. After 76 played minutes PRINSICH F.C got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Fiz. If Danilo Quinito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the PRINSICH F.C defense, Elpidio Rocendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teobaldo Vidal. The PRINSICH F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teobaldo Vidal should have stopped the shot. Cirilo Vachon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rogelio Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Hernan Gilesindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fortin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PRINSICH F.C the free kick. 96 minutes into the game, Fortin FC's Elpidio Rocendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teobaldo Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Fortin FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
