With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Elorri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Perfecto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severo Guifre, 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Ichipuca Futbol Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Collagasta:s goal. Severo Guifre had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Fabian Olivar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 41st minute, Emanuel Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Perfecto in the 46th minute of play forced Ichipuca Futbol Club's goalkeeper Severo Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Julian Tiadoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the game, Jaime Cedro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ichipuca Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Collagasta the free kick. Fabian Olivar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severo Guifre. Ichipuca Futbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Collagasta's Gaudencio Perfecto in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aaron Katia charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Katia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Ichipuca Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Katia. Cecilio Farias took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Guifre. Severo Guifre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Collagasta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
