With an all-out effort, Cochangasta's Severo Guifre threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jimeno Pelagius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Santo Gaskon took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Enaut. Casimiro Enaut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st minute of the match Cochangasta got a corner. Ichipuca Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernan Abeita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ichipuca Futbol Club's goalie and right to Benicio Fernado. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ichipuca Futbol Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Benicio Fernado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ichipuca Futbol Club's Severo Guifre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Ichipuca Futbol Club's goalkeeper Severo Guifre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Cordaro. A collision led to Ichipuca Futbol Club getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Emanuel Damião hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Pelagius made a kick off. A collision led to Cochangasta getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hector Abechuco hit a great ball. Jimeno Pelagius struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Severo Guifre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochangasta. Severo Guifre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Belarmo's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Teofilo Cordaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Jimeno Pelagius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Teofilo Cordaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochangasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Cordaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofilo Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Guifre having to interfere. The supporters of Ichipuca Futbol Club booed when Cochangasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Teofilo Cordaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Guifre. Ichipuca Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Cordaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Cordaro in the 98th minute of play forced Ichipuca Futbol Club's goalkeeper Severo Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ichipuca Futbol Club's Severo Guifre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cordaro in the 99th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
