In the 17thth minute of the game Anibal Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boomerang's Virgílio Secco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Barros in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgílio Secco saved Boomerang from getting behind. If Anibal Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Boomerang's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Barros came free, but Virgílio Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Min Son sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boomerang's Virgílio Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Barros in the 35th minute of play. Paolo Hug hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Boomerang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xever Capon to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Bento to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Anibal Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rootment F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Eriberto Botello came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Boomerang's Paolo Hug. But to his dismay, Paolo Hug quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Min Son sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paolo Hug was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Boomerang getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Paolo Hug hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Pedroso in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgílio Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boomerang's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Anibal Barros scored to the left of an out of position Virgílio Secco, making the score, 2-2. Boomerang's Virgílio Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Pedroso in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Boomerang booed when Rootment F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Quintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Boomerang's Virgílio Secco got control of the ball when Adolfo Pedroso tried to sneak it across the goal line.
