A beautiful save bye Maruchas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Club Atletico Sarmiento's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agustin Segio in the 10th minute. 2-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Juan Sandaili elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Juan Sandaili was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Club Atletico Sarmiento's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Agustin Segio took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Celestino Bordat to make any attempt to save it. Emiliano Phelipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Sal having to interfere. Rodolfo Sal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Dayam, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to Club Atletico Sarmiento getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. David Abaunza hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Juan Sandaili got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Agustin Segio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Celestino Bordat 30 minutes into the match. Juan Sandaili in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Bordat, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Club Atletico Sarmiento's Rodolfo Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Dayam in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Dayam to make the kick off. Godofredo Vargas took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Bordat. Celestino Bordat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 61 minutes into the game, Remigio Damario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maruchas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Sarmiento the free kick. Club Atletico Sarmiento made a substitution. Guaberto Martino replaced Juan Sandaili. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Maruchas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atletico Sarmiento:s goal. Agustin Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Carlos Karlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maruchas FC and the Club Atletico Sarmiento players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Maruchas FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Carlos Karlo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txema Landa in the 75th minute of play forced Maruchas FC's goalkeeper Celestino Bordat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Agustin Segio made a precise shot to the right of Celestino Bordat. Maruchas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. If Guaberto Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Martino in the 84th minute of play forced Maruchas FC's goalkeeper Celestino Bordat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Agustin Segio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celestino Bordat was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Celestino Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Guaberto Martino sped through Maruchas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celestino Bordat. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Sarmiento's Fidel Araoz got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Club Atletico Sarmiento players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
