Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mauro Iliana started the match with the kick off. Mario Formerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ermegildo Felo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Felo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ermegildo Felo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Damaso Artal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Pabla came out and tried to block the shot, but Damaso Artal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Salada FC defense, Emiliano Lartaun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Pabla. The Salada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Pabla should have stopped the shot. Jonas Pabla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Artal in the 20th minute of play. If Emiliano Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Formerio having to interfere. Armando Afonso struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mario Formerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salada FC. Jonas Pabla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Formerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Armando Afonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mario Formerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Formerio having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damaso Artal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Armando Afonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Chorrillo getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ermegildo Felo hit a great ball. Mario Formerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Iliana in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, Chorrillo's Emiliano Lartaun made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Pabla was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Damaso Artal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorrillo's goalkeeper Mario Formerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Afonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute Emiliano Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Pabla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chorrillo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Emiliano Lartaun hit a great ball. Damaso Artal scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Pabla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salada FC's Jonas Pabla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Artal in the 85th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Salada FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Afonso. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chorrillo had won after a very even match.
