C.A.Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nápoli FC the free kick. After 4 played minutes C.A.Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Anaya. 4 minutes into the match, C.A.Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Maureo came free, but Domingos Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Severo Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, C.A.Talleres's Bernardo Rodas threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Oto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, C.A.Talleres's Nicolas Oto got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Nápoli FC's Alejandro Abadie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Bartoleme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Talleres's zone, Mauro Guillen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Bartoleme came out of the goal and Mauro Guillen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Maureo in the 20th minute of play forced C.A.Talleres's goalkeeper Domingos Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Oto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to C.A.Talleres getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nicolas Oto hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Mauro Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mauro Guillen fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nápoli FC's protests and gave Mauro Guillen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.A.Talleres booed when Nápoli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Domingos Bartoleme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Abadie in the 40th minute of play forced C.A.Talleres's goalkeeper Domingos Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A.Talleres's Robustiano Salvadore got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Alejandro Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nápoli FC's Fabio Seber got a free kick in the 45th minute.

52 minutes into the game, Robustiano Salvadore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bernardo Rodas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julian Maureo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 55th playminute. In the 58th match minute, C.A.Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Bernal to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Salvator blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Rodas having to make a save. After a rather tough play, C.A.Talleres's Severo Dominguez got a free kick in the 66th minute. Timoteo Salvator might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Rodas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Salvator ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Nápoli FC booed when C.A.Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Abadie in the 72nd minute of play forced C.A.Talleres's goalkeeper Domingos Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Rodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Salvator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Maureo got free with Domingos Bartoleme in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Nápoli FC's Alejandro Abadie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingos Bartoleme. That made the score 2-2 after 77 minutes of play. Robustiano Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Fabio Omero came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Nápoli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Omero couldn't finish the play. Domingos Bartoleme was a little too slow when Mauro Guillen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nápoli FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
