After 8 played minutes, Bosterix's Nicasio Phelipe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reynaldo Todor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bosterix reached it. In the 9th minute, Claudio Rami made a precise shot to the right of Blas Sol. Bosterix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Reynaldo Todor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Luix in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Curapaligüé got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Jesco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Azibar in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Todor saved Curapaligüé from getting behind. With his leg Blas Sol managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Curapaligüé's Roberto Cordaryal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Curapaligüé:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bosterix:s goal. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Bosterix. Nicasio Phelipe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Reynaldo Todor. 1-1. The throw-in from Guaberto Sayvion in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Curapaligüé's Benedicto Damario. Claudio Rami took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Sol. Blas Sol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 38th minute, Curapaligüé's Claudio Rami dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. 45 minutes into the game, Freddy Figueroa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Curapaligüé's Anselmo Jesco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Claudio Rami struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Blas Sol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curapaligüé.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Azibar to make the kick off. Blas Sol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Rami in the 58th minute of the match. If Claudio Rami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Rami might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Sol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Rami ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that Curapaligüé were the better team. Curapaligüé's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
