BANDURRIA's Basilio Orzaize proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save BANDURRIA from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquilino Bizen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basilio Orzaize. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. If Eriberto Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The tension between the Ichipuca AFC and the BANDURRIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aquilino Bizen hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in BANDURRIA's zone, Eriberto Ellande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Orzaize came out of the goal and Eriberto Ellande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Orzaize made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Ellande in the 31st minute. The supporters of BANDURRIA booed when Ichipuca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Musko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Basilio Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BANDURRIA's Basilio Orzaize proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save BANDURRIA from getting a goal against them. With his leg Basilio Orzaize managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Ichipuca AFC's Rodrigo Roano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eriberto Ellandes short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Basilio Orzaize to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Rodrigo Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Gaston Quinton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Orzaize was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute Eriberto Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Orzaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Quinton struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Basilio Orzaize didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ichipuca AFC. Eriberto Ellande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Justo Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ichipuca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Musko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Orzaize breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th match minute, BANDURRIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Gutierrez to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Quinton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basilio Orzaize having to make a save. Basilio Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Ellande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind BANDURRIA's goalkeeper Basilio Orzaize, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, BANDURRIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Vincent to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Ellande in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Orzaize saved BANDURRIA from getting behind. Aquilino Bizen struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Basilio Orzaize didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ichipuca AFC. Eriberto Ellande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Justo Musko came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ichipuca AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Musko couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Orzaize having to interfere. If Aquilino Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Eriberto Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Orzaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eriberto Ellande in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Orzaize prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute, Aquilino Bizen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Orzaize was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
