Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Amador Quintan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Arsenio Mannuel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gimnasia y esgrima's Ildefonso Quintana. Ildefonso Quintana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ildefonso Quintana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Sandaili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mo Quan Shu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ildefonso Quintana made a huge save. Maximino Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Gimnasia y esgrima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Papo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sanya Dos Santos. Viaducto Fútbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Gimnasia y esgrima getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sergio Rioja hit a great ball. Ildefonso Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Bento in the 35th minute of the match. Jorge Sandaili's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ildefonso Quintana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Gimnasia y esgrima's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mo Quan Shu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 43rd minute Jorge Sandaili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gimnasia y esgrima's Ildefonso Quintana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Sandaili in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mo Quan Shu made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y esgrima's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Sandaili came free, but Ildefonso Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viaducto Fútbol Club's Jorge Sandaili got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gimnasia y esgrima booed when Viaducto Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ildefonso Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Quan Shu in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y esgrima's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Sandaili came free, but Ildefonso Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gimnasia y esgrima's Sergio Rioja got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gimnasia y esgrima's zone, Rodolfo Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Quintana came out of the goal and Rodolfo Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximino Lucero during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Gimnasia y esgrima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Lucero to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes of play Gimnasia y esgrima's Maximino Lucero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Maximino Lucero hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Sanya Dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Quintan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gimnasia y esgrima! In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Viaducto Fútbol Club. Mo Quan Shu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ildefonso Quintana. 2-0. 89 minutes into the game, Viaducto Fútbol Club's Mo Quan Shu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Quintana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the Gimnasia y esgrima defense, Mo Quan Shu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ildefonso Quintana. The Gimnasia y esgrima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ildefonso Quintana should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Viaducto Fútbol Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
