In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Nueva FC's goalkeeper Mario Frantzes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Genaro Indalecio managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Villa Nueva FC's Gerardo Confesor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Genaro Indalecio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Mikelats's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Jacinto Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villa Nueva FC's Mario Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Sarracino in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
