Spectators: 7116 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Americo Oxarra kicked off to start the match. The supporters of BFC booed when Carranza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Carranza AFC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Hartz. In the 9th minute of the match Guillermo Abeita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Txartiko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, BFC's Jose Baladi got control of the ball when Dario Federigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Jose Baladi managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Carranza AFC's Dario Federigo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 19 minutes into the game, BFC's Matias Gomez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Txartiko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, BFC's Guillermo Abeita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Txartiko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 25 played minutes BFC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Palban. Americo Oxarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Txartiko having to interfere. Tadeo Luken thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Pablo Txartiko, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 0-2. Jose Baladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Uxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Everardo Uxio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, BFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Semeno to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Txartiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Gomez in the 59th minute. BFC's Paolo Senen was substituted for Constantino Palban. Anastasio Harkaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Americo Oxarra made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Txartiko. Carranza AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After having played for 74 minutes, Dario Federigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carranza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Federigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Oxarra in the 81st minute of play. Dario Federigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Matias Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Matias Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the BFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Gomez couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, BFC's Americo Oxarra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Txartiko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matias Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pablo Txartiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matias Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Abeita in the 97th minute. The corner ended in Paolo Senen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carranza AFC's Pablo Txartiko did a great save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
