Arnaldo Hibai came out of the goal and Mariano Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Fernan Pacho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Deportivo La Perla's Arnaldo Hibai. Arnaldo Hibai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Hibai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Pacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvano Sugar was the one to do the kick off. Flavio Lico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Duardo in the 56th minute of play forced Huyamampa FC's goalkeeper Salvador Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Txeru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvano Sugar went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Salvador Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Sugar in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Duardo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Txeru saved Huyamampa FC from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Huyamampa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Sugar came free, but Salvador Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes, Silvano Sugar made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Huyamampa FC's Salvador Txeru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Salvador Txeru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Duardo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Salvador Txeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Duardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Silvano Sugar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo La Perla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
