The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Jonas Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNION Y FUERZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Chepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primitivo Gau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Rogelio Leguizamón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talacasto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UNION Y FUERZA the free kick. Rogelio Leguizamón hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Primitivo Gau struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Angelino Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNION Y FUERZA. When UNION Y FUERZA's Maximino Euloxu in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Angelino Gines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Rogelio Leguizamón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Oskar Sundin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Talacasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Euloxu came free, but Angelino Gines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Euloxu struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Angelino Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNION Y FUERZA. In the 46thth minute of the game Maximino Euloxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talacasto FC's Angelino Gines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The UNION Y FUERZA fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when UNION Y FUERZA's Maximino Euloxu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Euloxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 62 minutes of play Talacasto FC's Rogelio Leguizamón was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rogelio Leguizamón hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Primitivo Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Euloxu in the 66th minute of play forced Talacasto FC's goalkeeper Angelino Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Atarratze's late challenge caught a UNION Y FUERZA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Atarratze helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Talacasto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Gau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Gines having to interfere. Maximino Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maximino Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Gau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelino Gines read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Jonas Chepe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UNION Y FUERZA played a much better game than Talacasto FC and deserved their victory. The Talacasto FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
