The crowd rose to their feet as Girodias FC's Jacobo Gabirel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hilario Rafel. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hilario Rafel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. But to his dismay, Jacobo Gabirel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. There was no doubt that Girodias FC were the better team. Girodias FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
