Eleuterio Manilan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Iaki in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Pirata FC's Eleuterio Manilan got control of the ball when Fidel Iaki tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Teobaldo Urtsua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Socorro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ernesto Pinto came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirata FC's Ambrosio Blanco. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Blanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Foro Decano FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! If Fulgencio Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Crispo in the 36th minute of play. Jeronimo Cordarrel charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Cordarrel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Foro Decano FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Cordarrel. 45 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Ciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Pinto. Foro Decano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Ciano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Iaki to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Workman in the 53rd minute of play forced Pirata FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Cordarrel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ernesto Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Crispo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Carlos Bixintxo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foro Decano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 66th match minute, Foro Decano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Trautmann to maneuver through the defense. Pirata FC made a substitution. Caio Couto replaced Eugenio Crispo. The supporters of Pirata FC booed when Foro Decano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Trautmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Ciano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Pinto, 1-4. The supporters of Pirata FC booed when Foro Decano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Trautmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Bixintxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Manilan having to make a save. Foro Decano FC's Fernan Ignazio got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, Pirata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Pirata FC's Paulino Ofelio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Pinto. Ernesto Pinto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. The Foro Decano FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pirata FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
