When Midas Vera came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the 1° de Mayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Midas Vera couldn't finish the play. In the 35thth minute of the game Inocencio Domiku who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Martin SJ's Emiliano Cristofol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Midas Vera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Emiliano Cristofol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 43 minutes, Inocencio Domiku made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. San Martin SJ's Emiliano Cristofol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute of the match, Ambrosio Argider tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gani İren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half 1° de Mayo were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inocencio Domiku was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Emiliano Cristofol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emiliano Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Domiku in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Conrado Txatxu notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of 1° de Mayo's Gani İren. Gani İren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for San Martin SJ! San Martin SJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cícero Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. The supporters of 1° de Mayo booed when San Martin SJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gani İren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Txatxu in the 92nd minute of the match. Gani İren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Argider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, San Martin SJ's Santo Corderro tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
