The La Bancaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. Vinicio Elija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Juan Ibon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Incendio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelaria AFC's goalkeeper Cayetano Incendio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Garin Poulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria AFC's zone, Juan Ibon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Incendio came out of the goal and Juan Ibon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Candelaria AFC defense, Juan Ibon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Incendio. The Candelaria AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Incendio should have stopped the shot. If Vinicio Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Bernard's late challenge caught a Candelaria AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Bernard helped the player get up and apologised. Saturnino Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match.
