Donado AFC's Cesar Alfonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Salvidor in the 9th minute of play. Joaquin Ilazki might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Incendio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Ilazki ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldo Dominguez's late challenge caught a Donado AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Dominguez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Aldo Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16th play minutes Joaquin Ilazki shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Cayetano Incendio and just under the crossbar into goal. Prudencio Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Incendio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Ilazki's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. If Vinicio Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Nunez Salvidor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cesar Alfonso, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nunez Salvidor in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Alfonso saved Donado AFC from getting behind. When Blas Alvarez fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donado AFC's protests and gave Blas Alvarez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Donado AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Blas Alvarez hit a great ball. Cayetano Incendio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Ilazki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Incendio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Frederico, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Joaquin Ilazki struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Cayetano Incendio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donado AFC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Frederico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Incendio having to interfere. Prudencio Frederico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cayetano Incendio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Anastasio Iztal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesar Alfonso was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. With his leg Cayetano Incendio managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Donado AFC's Joaquin Ilazki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joaquin Ilazkis short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Cayetano Incendio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Joaquin Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Candelaria AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
