When Sepultura's Augustijn Wijngaerts in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alberto Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Ferran having to interfere. Juan Ferran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Pereyra in the 11th minute. After 11 played minutes Sepultura got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Soter. Cristobal Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sepultura's Augustijn Wijngaerts in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Augustijn Wijngaerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Beremundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Sepultura got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Urbes. After a rather tough play, Chancaní's Severiano Licerio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 33rd minute, Augustijn Wijngaerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sepultura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 36 minutes into the game, one of Sepultura:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, Chancaní's Severiano Licerio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Juan Ferran. Epifanio Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustijn Wijngaerts in the 42nd minute of play. Chancaní's Epifanio Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustijn Wijngaerts in the 46th minute of play. Alberto Pereyra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustijn Wijngaerts was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Andres Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sepultura's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Chepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Beremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andres Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Patricio Astrada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sepultura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chancaní the free kick. In the 70th minute, Patricio Astrada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Ferran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Cristobal Urbes made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Beremundo. Chancaní's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 78 minutes into the match, Chancaní's goalkeeper Epifanio Beremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Urbes. In the 80th minute Andres Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sepultura fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Sepultura's Augustijn Wijngaerts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vicente Nataniel hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustijn Wijngaerts got free with Epifanio Beremundo in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sepultura played a much better game than Chancaní and deserved their victory. The Chancaní players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
