The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manuel Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Gartzi having to interfere. When Aguero F.C.'s Xaime Ciencabrero in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thea's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute, Mario Osorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguero F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alejo Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaime Ciencabrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Ermegildo Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th play minute Manuel Mateo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alejo Gartzi. 2-0. Xaime Ciencabrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaime Ciencabrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alejo Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aguero F.C.'s Manuel Mateo got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Alberto Celio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Filomeno Lleir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alejo Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Aguero F.C.'s Bernardino Liberto got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Manuel Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Aguero F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Mateo couldn't finish the play.

After a rather tough play, Thea's Isaac Abella got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aguero F.C.'s zone, Ermegildo Frutos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Lleir came out of the goal and Ermegildo Frutos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Thea booed when Aguero F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Cloyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Isidro Otoniel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Lleir skillfully saved the ball. Aguero F.C.'s Filomeno Lleir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Aguero F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Manuel Mateo made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Gartzi. Thea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 75 played minutes Thea got a freekick which was hit by Igor Ganix. Igor Ganix hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Xaime Ciencabrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguero F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Xaime Ciencabrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mario Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alejo Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Thea's Ermegildo Frutos made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filomeno Lleir was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teofilo Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Thea's Alejo Gartzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xaime Ciencabrero in the 87th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Przemyslaw Jaworski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thea's Alejo Gartzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Osorio in the 96th minute of play forced Thea's goalkeeper Alejo Gartzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aguero F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
