In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpintería FC's goalkeeper Ferman Umar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Arhenius in the 14th minute of play forced Aibar AFC's goalkeeper Iker Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Aibar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Arhenius came free, but Iker Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Venancio Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aibar AFC's protests and gave Venancio Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. Niceto Ekaitz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Iker Merexildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 27th match minute, Aibar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Ekaitz to maneuver through the defense. Ferman Umar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Gozdowski in the 36th minute of play. Carpintería FC's Ferman Umar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Carpintería FC from getting a goal against them. Ferman Umar made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Davide Palmieri sent off a good shot on target. Freddy Natanael received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferman Umar came out and tried to block the shot, but Freddy Natanael slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Nuno Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Ludomir Gozdowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aibar AFC and the Carpintería FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Ludomir Gozdowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Carpintería FC's Elpidio Romero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iker Merexildo. That made the score 1-3 after 58 minutes of play. Ferman Umar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Gozdowski in the 64th minute of play. Davide Palmieri might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferman Umar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davide Palmieri ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Ludomir Gozdowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Merexildo was a little too slow when Stig Arhenius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-4. If Ludomir Gozdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Davide Palmieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Aibar AFC's Ludomir Gozdowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferman Umar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Nuno Ribeiros short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Iker Merexildo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Aibar AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carpintería FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Carpintería FC.
