Spectators: 6623 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ermegildo Frutos took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Thea's zone, Davide Palmieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Gartzi came out of the goal and Davide Palmieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14th play minutes Davide Palmieri shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Alejo Gartzi and just under the crossbar into goal. Davide Palmieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Gartzi having to interfere. If Davide Palmieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Celio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iker Merexildo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ludomir Gozdowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludomir Gozdowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alejo Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Davide Palmieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aibar AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Palmieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Gartzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Heli kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Aibar AFC's Ludomir Gozdowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejo Gartzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Thea defense, Davide Palmieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Gartzi. The Thea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Gartzi should have stopped the shot. The Thea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aibar AFC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludomir Gozdowski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Aibar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Isidro Otoniel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iker Merexildo skillfully saved the ball. If Ludomir Gozdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludomir Gozdowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alejo Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Davide Palmieri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejo Gartzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Aibar AFC's Iker Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Heli in the 72nd minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Aibar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. Davide Palmieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thea's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Ludomir Gozdowski scored to the left of an out of position Alejo Gartzi, making the score, 0-5. Ludomir Gozdowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Gartzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Aibar AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
