A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Alena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Lizar came free, but Igor Estebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Celedonio Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Casado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Buinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Elortondo's Leopoldo Bikendi got a free kick in the 10th minute. Silvio Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celedonio Casado in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Buinton saved Elortondo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Alena FC's Celedonio Casado got a free kick in the 18th minute. Aquilino Horado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas Buinton having to make a save. In the 24th minute of the match, Cristian Serapio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Igor Estebe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Leopoldo Bikendi charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Bikendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leopoldo Bikendi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Elortondo defense, Celedonio Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Buinton. The Elortondo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Buinton should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Lalla in the 32nd minute of play forced Alena FC's goalkeeper Igor Estebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Buinton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvio Iago went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Elortondo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alena FC:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomero Tano during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Bikendi to make the kick off. Blas Buinton was a little too slow when Silvio Iago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-4. Alena FC's Silvio Iago got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Casado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Buinton was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. If Silvio Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Celedonio Casado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Bikendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Estebe. Alena FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Bikendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. A collision led to Elortondo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Guido Bartuelo hit a great ball. Celedonio Casado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas Buinton having to make a save. Cristian Serapio struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Igor Estebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elortondo. Igor Estebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Serapio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Blas Buinton made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Celedonio Casado sent off a good shot on target. After 85 played minutes Elortondo got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Lizar. Alena FC's Aquilino Horado got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Blas Buinton managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Alena FC's Celedonio Casado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvio Iago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blas Buinton. That made the score 1-5 in the 92 minute of play. If Silvio Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alena FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
