Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) After 3 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by William Costa. 4 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Aurken came free, but Celso Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornelio Oier during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pablo Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Teofilo Dubardo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cirilo Txurio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Manchester United's Celso Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United from getting a goal against them. Celso Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Aurken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malvinas's Pablo Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malvinas's Adriana Leoncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José França in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Leon Haritz hit a great ball. Manchester United's Celso Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Aurken in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Cirilo Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Aurken in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Furtado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Lazcano got free with Celso Furtado in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriana Leoncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José França, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Celso Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Lazcano in the 53rd minute of play. Celso Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Lazcano in the 54th minute of the match. Malvinas's Adriana Leoncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Omero in the 56th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Malvinas got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Maurin. Celso Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Lazcano in the 64th minute of play. Leon Haritz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Celso Furtado came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Malvinas's Pablo Lazcano. But to his dismay, Pablo Lazcano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Celso Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Aurken went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Malvinas's Pablo Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Aurken came free, but Celso Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Manchester United defense, Arturo Aurken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Furtado. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Furtado should have stopped the shot. Pablo Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Celso Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rosendo Vellito hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Arturo Aurken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Furtado. Manchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Aurken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Malvinas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
