Hernan Enaut hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Fausto Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Quintyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Enaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Froilan Benino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Maximino Garcia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximino Garcia during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Republica De Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Maximino Garcia hit a great ball. When Higinio Irrintzi came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Post Mortem FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Irrintzi couldn't finish the play. Higinio Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Furtado having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Enaut to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Republica De Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Enaut. Maximino Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Brion in the 60th minute of the match. With his leg Fausto Furtado managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Post Mortem FC's Domingo Quintyn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A sloppy throw-in by Lucas Rios in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Post Mortem FC's Simon Fix. In the 68th minute Higinio Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Irrintzi in the 78th minute of play forced Republica De Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Fausto Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Domingo Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Republica De Buenos Aires's Maximino Garcia got a free kick in the 91st minute. Republica De Buenos Aires's Fausto Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Irrintzi in the 97th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Republica De Buenos Aires were victorious despite being under pressure from Post Mortem FC for much of the match.
