Leonides Cruz came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Aldosivi FC's Ronnie Mullen. But to his dismay, Ronnie Mullen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Leonides Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Mullen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonides Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Inautzi in the 18th minute of play. Ronnie Mullen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Aldosivi FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in SEVENDUST FC's zone, Inácio Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Cruz came out of the goal and Inácio Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lisandro Vermudo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SEVENDUST FC's protests and gave Lisandro Vermudo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SEVENDUST FC's Lisandro Vermudo got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ronnie Mullen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Cruz came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronnie Mullen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. Natalio Inautzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Leonides Cruz made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, SEVENDUST FC's goalkeeper Leonides Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Inautzi. After a rather tough play, SEVENDUST FC's Gualterio Pelagius got a free kick in the 35th minute. Leopoldo Ubelteso charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A wasted opportunity for Aldosivi FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Natalio Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldosivi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Inautzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronnie Mullen in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lugo Meruelo charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lugo Meruelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aldosivi FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lugo Meruelo hit a great ball. Remigio Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute.
