In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Cordona. Gaudencio Milio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miroslaw Bambas. 0-2. Miroslaw Bambas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Lizbeth's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Maximo Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Bambas having to interfere. In the 29th minute Maximo Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Bambas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordona's Elpidio Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Erauso in the 30th minute of play. Cordona's Santos Lizbeth got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Baumer hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Miroslaw Bambas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Lizbeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Miroslaw Bambas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miroslaw Bambas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Lizbeth's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Quilmes A.C.'s Miroslaw Bambas got control of the ball when Maximo Gaxan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Gaxan got free with Miroslaw Bambas in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quilmes A.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaudencio Milio was slow to take the kick. During this time Cordona's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Santos Lizbeth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cordona's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Lizbeth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslaw Bambas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miroslaw Bambas made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Apolo Mino sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Quilmes A.C.'s Miroslaw Bambas got control of the ball when Apolo Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Quilmes A.C.'s goalkeeper Miroslaw Bambas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Lizbeth. Apolo Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Miroslaw Bambas made a huge save. A collision led to Quilmes A.C. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Octavio Guillen hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Santos Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Bambas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
