If Rene Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Temperley's goalkeeper Jairo Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Bilintx. Jairo Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Anselmo Bilintx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jairo Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jairo Barros made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Rene Gipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. Anselmo Bilintxs short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Jairo Barros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fernando Di Carlo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Bilintx made a kick off. Temperley's Jairo Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Pietras in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Bilintx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Barros was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Arkadiusz Pietras scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
