Spectators: 6881 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1631, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celestino Chayo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Denis Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Telesforo having to interfere. When Carrayalde FC's Gavino Hug in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tambillos's goalie prevented a goal. After 9 minutes of play, Carrayalde FC's Gavino Hug made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Telesforo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Tambillos's zone, Denis Jokin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Telesforo came out of the goal and Denis Jokin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Hug in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Telesforo saved Tambillos from getting behind. When Denis Jokin came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Carrayalde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Jokin couldn't finish the play. Erasmo Telesforo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Hug in the 20th minute of the match. Denis Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Carrayalde FC booed when Tambillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gavino Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Chinto to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gavino Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Telesforo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Hug made a kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Denis Jokin from a close distance when the talented Erasmo Telesforo managed to make a qualified save. Tambillos's players were relieved. In the 54th minute, one of Tambillos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tambillos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Jokin got free with Erasmo Telesforo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 60 in the game by Denis Jokin from a close distance when the talented Erasmo Telesforo managed to make a qualified save. Tambillos's players were relieved. Carrayalde FC's Justo Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Chayo in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Chayo in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justo Edorta saved Carrayalde FC from getting behind. Teofilo Errolan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justo Edorta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Gavino Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Telesforo having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Carrayalde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Errolan came free, but Justo Edorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Celestino Chayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justo Edorta. Carrayalde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Chayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Jokin got free with Erasmo Telesforo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 minutes, Herminio Jerrold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tambillos and the Carrayalde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Denis Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gavino Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrayalde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Hug was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Telesforo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Gavino Hug fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Erasmo Telesforo, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 96 minutes, Gavino Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrayalde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Telesforo having to interfere. Denis Jokin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Telesforo having to make a save. Erasmo Telesforo made a fantastic save in the 100th minute, when Celso Medardo sent off a good shot on target. Carrayalde FC played a much better game than Tambillos and deserved their victory. The Tambillos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
