The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Mauro Vitin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Maximo Inge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ushuaia's Bernardino Piorno got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Lázaro Chinto fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tambillos's protests and gave Lázaro Chinto a yellow card for diving instead. Lázaro Chinto kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Juan Lucian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Maximo Inge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Chayo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Mauro Vitin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tambillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Chayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauro Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Bemabe's late challenge caught a Ushuaia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Bemabe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Casimiro Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74th play minutes Juan Lucian shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Erasmo Telesforo and just under the crossbar into goal. After 79 played minutes Ushuaia got a freekick which was hit by Siro Pasqual. When Teofilo Errolan came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tambillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Errolan couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Errolan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Maximo Inge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ushuaia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ushuaia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
