Atlas's Ermegildo Botello got control of the ball when Samuel Kemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuel Kemens short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Ermegildo Botello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the game, one of C.A. Atlas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ermegildo Botello had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Baldomero Goyo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 25th minute, Abstinentes en la Cancha's Adan Manilan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ermegildo Botello made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Samuel Kemen sent off a good shot on target. Adan Manilan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ermegildo Botello 33 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Adan Manilan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Samuel Kemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Adan Manilan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Tobias Ponce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Atlas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abstinentes en la Cancha the free kick. In the 58th match minute, C.A. Atlas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Ponce to maneuver through the defense. If Adan Manilan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Ermegildo Botello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Manilan took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Botello. Ermegildo Botello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The supporters of C.A. Atlas booed when Abstinentes en la Cancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Adan Manilan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ermegildo Botello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Manilan's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Samuel Kemen might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Botello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Kemen ran back to his position shaking his head. Adan Manilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Samuel Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Abstinentes en la Cancha were the better team. Abstinentes en la Cancha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
