An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Santo Clodio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Bolivar F.C's Celestino Herena got a free kick in the 5th minute. Bolivar F.C's Beliran Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Frodyma in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Bernabe Mikeldi made a precise shot to the right of Beliran Marquez. Bolivar F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Santo Clodio might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Godoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santo Clodio ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, Igor Cesario notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bolivar F.C's Beliran Marquez. Beliran Marquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fidel Mannuel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Alfredo Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Bolivar F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Abancens couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beliran Marquez having to interfere. In the 35th minute Antoni Frodyma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beliran Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Thorsten Bar made a precise shot to the right of Beliran Marquez. Bolivar F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 46 minutes into the game, Cecilio Regis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivar F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barker the free kick. In the 46th minute, Cecilio Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thorsten Bar was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thorsten Bar in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beliran Marquez saved Bolivar F.C from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Eriberto Louis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beliran Marquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Bolivar F.C's Santo Clodio got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cecilio Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barker's Orlando Rafe was substituted for Eriberto Louis. In the 72nd minute, Alfredo Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barker's Reynaldo Herauso was substituted for Fidel Mannuel. Barker made a substitution. Igor Illart replaced Thorsten Bar. Alfredo Abancens hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Barker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. Bolivar F.C's Santo Clodio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bolivar F.C booed when Barker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball.
