Euler fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Luciano Orlin lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Cirilo Dabi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Paz. Mario Paz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 24 played minutes C.A. Euler got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Frederico. Cirilo Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mario Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Severo Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tornquist FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ovidio Matei hit a great ball. Fabio Ekhi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Eugenio Sugoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mario Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Brun in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Cirilo Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A. Euler's Mario Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Brun in the 38th minute of play. If Cirilo Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of C.A. Euler booed when Tornquist FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Delfino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Ekhi in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Sugoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 52nd minute, Igor Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Matei hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Brun in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Paz saved C.A. Euler from getting behind. Braulio Gaueko hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Gavino Jeraldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Euler and the Tornquist FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tornquist FC booed when C.A. Euler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Euler's goalkeeper Mario Paz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Tornquist FC booed when C.A. Euler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball.
