The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Bastia during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Deportivo Caldén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Bastia to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Montrel came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vinicio Cilio could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Los Millonarios's Augusto Ubendu got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Deportivo Caldén fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Millonarios were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
