Mykola Masnyi made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Felix Sanchez sent off a good shot on target. Ermegildo Efren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Efren in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Panfilo saved Millonarios from getting behind. Mykola Masnyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd match minute, Millonarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Unax to maneuver through the defense. Rosendo Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Abar in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Millonarios's Orlando Nikola got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Ermegildo Efren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Millonarios's Rosendo Panfilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Blas Unax got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Millonarios players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Almafuerte FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Maura to strike the kick off in the second half.
