Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Confesor to make the kick off. After having played for 60 minutes, Aaron Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Once Rengos's zone, Aaron Eufemio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Gaitano came out of the goal and Aaron Eufemio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Peruanton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Viviano in the 79th minute. La Patada Cubana's Manuel Peruanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Confesor in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Claudio Confesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Once Rengos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The supporters of La Patada Cubana booed when Once Rengos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
