Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Eklund in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Lidon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Lidon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Eklund's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Amador Orlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermanos Fc's Ernesto Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Eklund in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Eklund in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Lidon saved Hermanos Fc from getting behind. When Rodolfo Umea came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Española FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Umea couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Lidon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Orlo in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Rodolfo Umea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Filip Eklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Lidon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 47th minute of the game, Arturo Gombal landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 47 minutes, Norbert Milan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermanos Fc and the Española FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norbert Milan to make the kick off. Hermanos Fc's Ernesto Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Eklund in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Rodolfo Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Española FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Umea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Lidon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Orlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Lidon stood somewhat misplaced when Filip Eklund came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Filip Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Lidon having to interfere. Filip Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ernesto Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Filip Eklund notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Hermanos Fc's Ernesto Lidon. Ernesto Lidon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Eklund got free with Ernesto Lidon in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eugenio Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Eklund in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernesto Lidon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 83rd minute, Española FC's Filip Eklund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Lidon. Ernesto Lidon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 86 minutes into the match, Amador Orlo notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Hermanos Fc's Ernesto Lidon. Ernesto Lidon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the match, Hermanos Fc's goalkeeper Ernesto Lidon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Eklund. The Hermanos Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Española FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
