In the 18th minute, Erasmo Manuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Mitxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Erasmo Manuelo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alejandro Urtzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. El Taladro de Chivilcoy's Jimeno Fliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Primo in the 41st minute of play. Evelio Primo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. At last the ball reached Erasmo Manuelo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Portugalete. 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the Portugalete defense, Simon Argina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Urtzi. The Portugalete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Urtzi should have stopped the shot. When Daniel Mitxel came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the El Taladro de Chivilcoy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Mitxel couldn't finish the play. Erasmo Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Alejandro Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Isadore kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Maximino Paulin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alejandro Urtzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 76thth minute of the game Daniel Mitxel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugalete's Alejandro Urtzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Mitxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Alejandro Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
