Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nazca's Placido Ikatz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Norberto Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nazca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! In the 9th minute of the game, Retamal got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Placido Ikatz sped through Retamal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geronimo Guillen. In the 15th match minute, Nazca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Danel to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Retamal defense, Placido Ikatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Guillen. The Retamal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Guillen should have stopped the shot. Geronimo Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Gerazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Placido Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Ikatz in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Celedonio Gaztea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geronimo Guillen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Geronimo Guillen came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Nazca's Leonel Gerazan. But to his dismay, Leonel Gerazan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. With a little luck, Nazca's Gavino Azibar got control of the ball when Rigoberto Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geronimo Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Furtado was the one to do the kick off. If Placido Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 60 minutes, Norberto Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Eutropio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Placido Ikatz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geronimo Guillen, 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Nazca's Placido Ikatz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geronimo Guillen. That made the score 1-6 after 65 minutes of play. Rigoberto Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Retamal's Geronimo Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Ikatz in the 73rd minute of play. Celedonio Gaztea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geronimo Guillen. Retamal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 78 played minutes Nazca got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Eutropio. Geronimo Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Eutropio in the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Retamal's Geronimo Guillen got control of the ball when Placido Ikatz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonel Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Geronimo Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Casado during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Retamal got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Casado.
