After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Aquilino Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volviendo al Ruedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Gonza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Punisher VG's Severo Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Cucao in the 3rd minute of play. Severo Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a little luck, Punisher VG's Severo Gonza got control of the ball when Aquilino Abeijon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Allard Rinzema notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Volviendo al Ruedo's Feliberto Lorenz. Feliberto Lorenz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Beturian received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severo Gonza came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Beturian slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. Artemio Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Lorenz having to interfere. Artemio Lauro struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Feliberto Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Punisher VG. In the 30th minute, Allard Rinzema left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Punisher VG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Allard Rinzema scored 2-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Lorenz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Punisher VG's Artemio Lauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Lorenz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Octavio Cucao made the kick off in the second half. Feliberto Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Orlondo in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Delmar Gil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Severo Gonza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquilino Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Severo Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Punisher VG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Quintun to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Guerau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severo Gonza. Punisher VG's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Feliberto Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Orlondo in the 60th minute of play. Artemio Lauro struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Feliberto Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Punisher VG. Felix Orlondo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-5. The supporters of Volviendo al Ruedo booed when Punisher VG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Cucao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allard Rinzema in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Lorenz saved Volviendo al Ruedo from getting behind. Punisher VG's Allard Rinzema got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artemio Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Lorenz having to interfere. Artemio Lauro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Punisher VG's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Feliberto Lorenz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Orlondo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-7 in the 95 minute of play.
