In the 5th match minute, Campanas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. When José Paulo Bertassi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 7 minutes had been played. In the 10th minute, Eriberto Machado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Godofredo Izotz. The goal made the score 1-0. After 18 minutes, Gualterio Estevez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campanas FC and the Castaño players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serafin Hug's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Godofredo Izotz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Godofredo Izotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Florencio Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Bras in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Danilo Rey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Florencio Tavio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafin Hug was the one to do the kick off. Justino Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Izotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Hug in the 55th minute of play. Serafin Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Godofredo Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godofredo Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Hug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campanas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castaño the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Campanas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Gora to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Tavio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Castaño's goalkeeper Florencio Tavio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Rey. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Castaño had won after a very even match.
