The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Monte got free with Edgard Gasteiz in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudio Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edgard Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Almafuerte AFC's zone, Claudio Monte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Gasteiz came out of the goal and Claudio Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Desiderio Lazcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Charbonier's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Inko came free, but Desiderio Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Justo Inko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Desiderio Lazcano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, 梅骋凡 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almafuerte AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but 梅骋凡 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Lazcano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Gervasio Goito made the kick off in the second half.
