After 7 minutes, Lucas Llorian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ocelote F.C. and the Talacasto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Ocelote F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Llorian to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Ambrosio Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Inocente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Talacasto's Joel Salvator seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joel Salvator the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Talacasto protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joel Salvator had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 12 minutes into the game, one of Talacasto:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jaime Mannuel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Monte went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Froilan Mambru's late challenge caught a Ocelote F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Froilan Mambru helped the player get up and apologised. Froilan Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Gervasio Inocente came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ocelote F.C.'s Benjamin Eladio. But to his dismay, Benjamin Eladio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gervasio Inocente was a little too slow when Benjamin Eladio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-2. 32 minutes into the game, Ignacio Kismi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talacasto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ocelote F.C. the free kick. Gervasio Inocente made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Benjamin Eladio sent off a good shot on target. Omar Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jaime Mannuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Talacasto's Gervasio Inocente got control of the ball when Benjamin Eladio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Talacasto's goalkeeper Gervasio Inocente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Refugio. Gervasio Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gervasio Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Bermudez in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Eladio in the 52nd minute of play forced Talacasto's goalkeeper Gervasio Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Mannuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Inocente in the 55th minute of the match. Talacasto's Gervasio Inocente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Eladio in the 59th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Omar Monte took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Jaime Mannuel to make any attempt to save it. Ocelote F.C.'s Marciano Lope was substituted for Ambrosio Bermudez. In the 66th minute, Salvador Tomi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Ocelote F.C.'s Fabian Cubero in action when he in the 68th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Omar Monte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jaime Mannuel came out and tried to block the shot, but Omar Monte slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 70th minute. Gervasio Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gervasio Inocente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Eladio in the 77th minute of the match. Gervasio Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Lope in the 78th minute of play. Omar Monte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Mannuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Talacasto's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Lope came free, but Gervasio Inocente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Talacasto were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ocelote F.C. side.
