Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Txomin kicked off to start the match. Santiago Fresco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Guillermo Paulin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 6th play minute Santiago Fresco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Guillermo Paulin. 1-0. Higinio Txomin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Fresco made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 11thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Guillermo Paulin would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Arturo Tabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Manuel Cresencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camiel Van der Goten lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Frontera a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iker Haritzeder, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gringo FC's Manuel Cresencio. 1-1. Manuel Cresencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Haitz in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Gringo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Virila came free, but Manuel Cresencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Hugo Maraman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gringo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera the free kick. After a rather tough play, Frontera's Tobias Haitz got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Gringo FC booed when Frontera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Farias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frontera's Guillermo Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Urdaspal in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Inocencio Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Cresencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Paulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Txomin in the 35th minute of the match. Blas Urdaspal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Paulin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Txomin's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Higinio Txomin might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Paulin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Txomin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th match minute, Frontera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Velasco to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Virila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Higinio Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Urdaspal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nuñez hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Higinio Txomin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Paulin was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If Higinio Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Higinio Txomin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gringo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Manuel Cresencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Virila in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Txomin in the 81st minute of play forced Frontera's goalkeeper Guillermo Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Tobias Haitz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Gringo FC's Manuel Cresencio. Manuel Cresencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Frontera getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Evelio Sadurni hit a great ball. If Higinio Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Paulin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Txomin went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 97 played minutes Frontera got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Haitz. Gringo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
