Paolo Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of RUSTU booed when Tolosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. RUSTU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tolosa the free kick. In the 21st match minute, RUSTU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbain Albbrecht to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Colon having to interfere. Paolo Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Bittor in the 28th minute of the match. Tomas Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Guaberto Colon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Silbestre couldn't finish the play. In the 40thth minute of the game Carmelo Silbestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tolosa's Paolo Millan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urbain Albbrecht struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Paolo Millan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RUSTU. Paolo Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmelo Silbestre to make the kick off. Carmelo Silbestres short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Paolo Millan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guaberto Colon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeo Bemabe went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Carmelo Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Paolo Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Bemabe in the 63rd minute of the match. Carmelo Silbestre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Millan having to make a save. After having played for 77 minutes, Carmelo Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RUSTU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Silbestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 78th minute of the match Urbain Albbrecht completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Urbain Albbrecht a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 79th minute, Urbain Albbrecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Bemabe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the RUSTU defense, Tomas Vela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Colon. The RUSTU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Colon should have stopped the shot. When German Osoitz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the RUSTU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Osoitz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Osoitz in the 95th minute of play forced Tolosa's goalkeeper Paolo Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tolosa support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
